Joybook Lite U121 Eco: Notebook 'Green' ala BenQ

BenQ menyematkan nama Eco ke dalam netbook mereka, Joybook Lite U121 sebagai notifikasi dukungan terhadap produk yang lebih ramah lingkungan.

U121 Eco diklaim BenQ memiliki konsumsi daya yang rendah berkat penggunaan CPU Intel Atom dan penghematan daya layar LED-backlit. Tidak hanya itu, BenQ juga memperbanyak materi yang bisa didaur ulang dalam penggunaan kemasannya. Akibatnya, U121 Eco ini diakui oleh organisasi ramah lingkungan, baik EPEAT maupun Energy Star, sebagai 'green product'.

Soal daya, U121 Eco mungkin bisa memenuhi kebutuhan mobilitas penggunanya. Dalam kurun waktu sejam, baterai U121 Eco akan mampu mengumpulkan sekitar 80 persen dari total kapasitas energi yang dibutuhkan. Artinya, laptop yang mampu bertahan selama 8 jam ini dapat terisi sebanyak 80 persennya (atau daya tahan baterai 6 jam) meski waktu charge baru berlangsung selama satu jam. Dibandingkan laptop biasa, proses charging pada U121 Eco ini terbilang cukup cepat. Pasalnya, dalam waktu sejam, laptop biasa hanya mampu mengumpulkan sedikit energi sehingga dibutuhkan waktu berjam-jam agar semua energi dalam laptop dapat terisi penuh. Teknologi Q-Charge dalam laptop ini memungkinkan hal tersebut terjadi di U121 Eco.

Dari sisi desain, U121 Eco memiliki berat yang ramping, hanya sekira 1,3 kilogram. Cukup ringan untuk ukuran sebuah notebook. Layar yang diusungnya berkuran lebar 11,6 inci sehingga tampilan layarnya cukup nyaman untuk ditatap, tentunya tanpa harus mengerutkan dahi saat berselancar di dunia maya.

Ketika anda berselancar, U121 Eco merupakan perangkat internet dengan koneksi yang beragam. BenQ menyematkan koneksi nirkabel wi-fiArtinya, dengan teknologi tersebut pengguna bisa menampilkan satu laman internet hanya dalam waktu 5 detik saja. Untuk urusan transfer data dari perangkat ke perangkat, BenQ mempersenjatai Eco U121 dengan Bluetooth 2.1. Cukup bermanfaat untuk mengirimkan/ berbagi foto atau video yang dihasilkan dari web cam yang terintegrasi di laptop ini. Jika seluruh koneksi yang ada di U121 Eco ini belum mencukupi, BenQ memberikan koneksi optional berupa teknologi HSUPA, yang bisa dipasang sebagai modem internal tambahan. Tentunya perangkat ini akan disajikan terpisah dan tidak masuk dalam paket kemasan.

Selain itu, U121 Eco juga dilengkapi QData Trove 3.3, sebuah pelindung backup sistem yang akan menyimpan informasi Anda aman selama transfer dan melindungi dari serangan virus.

U121 Eco dilengkapi UltraVivid Technology yang bekerja bersamaan dengan layar LED-backlight untuk meningkatkan kecerahan dari permukaan layar lebar high gloss. Dengan waktu respons 8 milisecond (ms), gambar yang bening dan bebas-noise akan langsung tertampil di depan mata.

Tidak hanya layar dan daya tahan komputasi yang memiliki performa yang baik, U121 Eco juga dilengkapi dengan speaker 2.0 W berteknologi SRS TruSurround HD. Dengan teknologi ini dijamin efek suara yang keluar akan sangat menggelegar. Selain itu, desain tanpa suara U121 Eco menjaga kipas berputar hanya di kisaran 26dB, sehingga Anda tak akan terganggu suara bising dari kipas tersebut.
